Mobile Fleet Specialists of Birmingham

Mobile Fleet Specialists of Birmingham opened their first location in Alabaster in 2017. Owners Remco Hoytink and Jeff Osborn identified a need for a company to service commercial truck and equipment fleets on-site, saving businesses time, money and hassle. After opening their second location in downtown Birmingham, it wasn’t long before they outgrew the space and it was time to expand again. 

Remco was referred to Sam Renta and Alliance Capital Corporation by a friend, and immediately felt comfortable with Sam’s knowledge and vision for what their company needed. “I couldn’t have gone through this process by myself,” Remco says. “Without Sam’s help, we wouldn’t be in our new location right now.”

Envisioning what they wanted, Remco and Jeff looked at some challenging properties before settling on an old warehouse on 31st Street North. “It was pretty dilapidated and we needed a large loan to invest in the property,” Remco explains. “It’s scary when you deal with finances that large, but Sam talked us off the ledge a few times and gave us great advice.”

That relationship contributing to a strong partnership. “You could not ask for two nicer guys, which makes the desire to help them succeed more rewarding,” Sam adds. “Being on top of what we asked for and getting it to us in a timely fashion helped make our job much easier!”

With a little bit of vision and Sam’s assistance, Mobile Fleet Specialists has a new home large enough to provide quality customer service and even allowed them to add an on-site truck wash. “There were no other truck washes in Birmingham, so this was another huge opportunity for growth,” Remco says. “We could not have expanded our business in our old location.”
